Raydar Ellis "Nice Guy" [World Premiere!]

Happy Belated to the fam Raydar Ellis at Brick Records.  On his birthday, this dude is providing us with gifts with this exclusive joint "Nice Guy."  Raydar is hard at work on The Dimebag, an EP you will hear a lot more about from this page in the upcoming days.  This joint is one of those cutting room floor cuts that won't make the EP like all those unreleased Doctor's Advocate joints The Game has floating around.  All I have to say is if Raydar thinks this is not good enough to make the final cut, The Dimebag is going to be something special.'

This song features a HARD beat sampling Chinese guitar licks (no idea what the instrument is called) with a smooth percussive background.  The topic is about nice guys finishing last when it comes to getting chicks which we all can relate to.  Well at least the good folks in the building can relate.  Raydar shows and proves that he is an upcoming producer/emcee to look out after.  His theme of nice guys finishing last in relationship is portrayed through a story which is not as cliche as you'd think.  Give it enough listens to figure out the story and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.  Raydar is showing that his strong beats alone don't make his music, as he successfully gets his modern-day griot on.  Raydar kills it with this one, and like LeVar Burton says on Reading Rainbow, Don't take my word for it, find out for yourself.

Raydar also wanted to shout out he and his band J4DA will be performing at the Santa Fe Music festival where Public Enemy and the Wu-Tang are performing as well.  More Raydar Ellis info at his MYSPACE

RIP and REP D. Ellis
